Warehouse Operative

Production Equipment is a leading industrial distributor supplying over 90,000 products to customers globally.  We are currently recruiting for a dispatch operative to join our busy team.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all orders are picked accurately, in line with company SOP’s.
• Working off a consolidated picking manifest
• Working to deadlines, ensuring all orders are dispatched on schedule.
• Read carefully through the picking list, identifying the product and quantity against the relevant sales order.
• Methodically pack each order in line with company standards.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping while operating a strict clean as you go policy
• Support colleagues and maintain a positive working environment in delivering service excellence to our customers.
• Proactively suggest improvements and adhere to all health and safety rules
• Maintain good housekeeping within the working area

Skills & Experience:

• Flexible, reliable, hardworking with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to use own initiative with strong attention to detail
• Previous experience using SAP or a similar system would be highly desirable.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a desire for excellence.
• Attention to detail and pick accuracy are paramount to the success of the role.
• You must have a minimum of 1 year’s order picking and warehouse experience.
