Purchasing Administrator

Production Equipment Europe is a leading industrial distributor supplying over 90,000 products to customers nationwide.

If you’re familiar with supply chain procedures and know how to create and translate cost analyses, we’d like to meet you. We are looking for a professional responsible candidate to form part of a busy Purchasing Team and ensure effective communication between Purchasing and our internal and external stakeholders.



Ensuing purchase orders are received within required time frames.

Confirming orders and routing relevant information to the correct Team 

Managing and reducing excess inventory levels.

 Reviewing returns and damaged goods. 

Working to agreed time scales and deadlines. 

Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors.

 Delivering both high quality and cost-effective solutions. 

Monitor the supply performance of vendors.

Skills & Experience 

Experience working in a purchasing and or logistics role.

Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management or business is preferable. 

Strong organisational and administration skills.

 Excellent negotiation skills. 

Good computer skills (MS Office), SAP or other ERP system experience highly desirable.

Flexible and pro-active attitude with a desire for excellence. 

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
