Financial Accountant

We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Financial Accountant to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing month-end reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The role involves close collaboration with the finance team and other departments to ensure data integrity. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare and review month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Analyse financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal accounting policies
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Assist with preparation and submission of tax filings, regulatory reporting and ad-hoc analysis
• Support process improvements and automation initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional qualification required (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA)
• 1-2 years of post-qualification experience or similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting standards
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
